DREAM IT, BE IT

The Dream It, Be It program is for high school girls who are interested in furthering their education to follow their career goals. It is a program that shares education to succeed and gives access to professional role models and mentors. The program helps girls find resources to plan their goals and it aims to help girls grow into confident, strong, successful adults.

Soroptimist International of Woodland is focused on ensuring that girls have tools they need to be successful. We do this by offering educational sessions which include:

• Create achievable goals,

• Rise above obstacles,

• Turning failure into success,

• Balancing your stress, and

• Putting dreams into action.

 

Some of the professional women the girls hear from are business owners, healthcare professionals, real estate experts, and more. These professional women will share the struggles they have faced while following the path to achieving their goals and sharing ways to stay focused and move toward success. 

 

Eligible girls for this program are preferred to be between the ages of 14 and 18, and have a passion to succeed and love learning.
