Care Kits for Girls

Soroptimist International of Woodland (SIW) was asked to make "Personal Care Kits” for high school girls within the community. Items were collected from both the club members and community and included things like travel shampoo and conditioner, floss, chapstick, toothbrushes, deodorant, and more.

In addition, we created a page on our website with additional community resources. Each care kit included a QR code and link to this resource page. This community resource list is made available to anyone that needs it.

We made 100 care kits to distribute amongst Pioneer and Woodland High students. The hope is to create even more care packets in the future to help more girls in need.

Thanks to all who donated supplies. SIW had a fun afternoon creating the care kits and delivering them to the schools. We are continuing to accept donations to assemble future care kits.
